Entrepreneurs

As business owners, we all need guidance. In a perfect world, we would all have a mentor. Meeting the right person for this role can take years, though – if you meet him or her at all, that is.

Since you can’t afford to wait that long, let me take the guesswork (and the anxiety) out of being your own boss.

Whether you need technical pointers (“What the heck is an autoresponder and how do I set one up?”), someone to brainstorm with, or useful techniques to keep you moving forward when you’re stuck or afraid, you can bring me all your business questions, and we’ll sort them out!

In addition to owning two businesses here in Vancouver, and having a Master’s degree in business management and marketing, I have worked in all size companies in Europe and in Canada, from German automotive multinationals to boutique interior design firms.

Past business clients come from Europe, the Commonwealth, Japan, and Mexico. I have worked with graphic and web designers, photographers, retail shop owners, life coaches, trainers and facilitators, aromatherapists… the list goes on.

Small business and entrepreneurship is my passion, and I am especially committed to helping newcomers succeed in Vancouver.

Don’t want to be stuck with a 4-month consulting package when all you need is some advice on how to revamp your marketing materials? Don’t worry. Many business coaches and consultants ask you to sign up for several months at a time. I don’t.

While I believe it takes time to build solid, long-lasting results, I want you to feel absolutely free to decide how long is long enough for you.

So pick one of the options below, and let’s get started!

Individual business coaching

- You have a great idea but you are not sure if it’d work in Vancouver;
- You need help writing your business plan;
- You are great at what you do but you hate marketing;
- You need more clients but you have no idea how to find them;

Sounds familiar? Then you can definitely benefit from some business coaching. You’ll be amazed at how much ground you can cover in a few hours of focused, structured, intentional time spent on your business.

What if you can’t hire me but still need help?

Expat support is not inexpensive, and you may not be able to afford it right now.

That doesn’t mean you’re on your own. If you find having your own business in Vancouver more challenging than you expected, I want to help you.

I offer plenty of free resources, tips and advice on my blog, Winning Away Expat Tips & Resources. Read through the archives, borrow the recommended books from the library, and visit the websites I link to for yet more great advice.

Can’t find what you’re looking for?
Email me with your expat-related questions. I will try my best to get back to you within 2 business days. I may also use your question as an inspiration for a blog post, so if you’d like me to credit you, please include your blog’s URL or your Twitter handle in your email.
